The Hanger Foundation Awards $120,000 in Grants to Spring 2022 Recipients


AUSTIN, Texas – May 26, 2022 – The Hanger Foundation has awarded its spring round of 2022 Empowerment Grants, giving a total of $120,000 to 14 non-profit organizations. Grant recipients include local and national organizations serving a variety of communities, including repeat award recipients as well as new recipients.

Congratulations to the 2022 Hanger Foundation Spring Empowerment Community Grant Recipients:

The programs funded include a 10-week program by Breathe Bravely focused on combating cystic fibrosis through the art of singing, an adaptive sports camp for veterans hosted by High Fives Foundation, and Catalyst Sports’ Adaptive Climbing Program. Eric Gray, Executive Director for Catalyst Sports, said, “Through our partnership with the Hanger Foundation, we will be able to help hundreds of individuals around the Southeast access adventure.”

The mission of the Hanger Foundation is to advance our communities by supporting 501c3 organizations that help people with physical challenges live life as fully as possible. Since its first grant award to Angel City Games in May 2015, the Foundation has donated over $1.8 million to 90 organizations in 29 states.
