Congratulations to the 2022 Hanger Foundation Empowerment Community Grant Recipients:
In addition to the 16 community grants, Hanger Foundation has awarded an Empowerment Signature Grant to Camp No Limits. Camp No Limits strives to be the leading camp for young people with limb loss or limb difference in the United States, with the goal of helping campers feel a sense of belonging, make life-long friends, and know that they are capable of achieving their dreams. Camp No Limits encourages families to attend with their loved one, and provides campers with education, peer support, and physical and occupational therapy. To date, the Foundation has been able to send over 5,000 families to Camp No Limits. In addition to the financial contribution, Hanger employees volunteer their time to help staff the camps and provide encouragement and support to the campers.
The mission of the Hanger Foundation is to advance our communities by supporting 501c3 organizations that help people with physical challenges live life as fully as possible. Since its first grant award to Angel City Games in May 2015, the Foundation has donated over $1.8 million to 92 non-profit organizations.
